Vintage VW Training FilmI love youtube.com. Just when you think that you have seen all the lip syncing clips of "Chocolate Rain" that you can handle for a lifetime. Your brain sends you a signal suggesting that you try looking up something that you actually might have some interest in. Lets try doing a search for "Vintage VW". A split second later, I am looking at a list of the best Vintage VW clips that you could ever imagine. Everything from German commercials to vintage training films. Is calling in sick on a Monday to watch youtube clips against any law? Sure hope not. Wow I feel a cold coming on. Little things here and thereI had some time to add a few things to the site today. Well ok, just a few more links on the links' page. Please check them out. Also, I wanted to post a picture of a new toy that was given to me by a friend. He is a toy collector and he ran across this cool Japanese made toy. Doing a bit of poking around on eBay I found one. Missed it....I hope that everyone had a great time at the show. I had looked forward to going for months. But, when the drain pipe under your house decides to crumble like wet cardboard things change. Belly crawling under your house with a head lamp trying to figure out where the waterfall is coming from is not how I like to spend my free time. If anyone that went wants to write a little something about the show and post some pictures that would be great. New FeaturesI have been playing around with 2 new features. #1 I have added a links page to the menu. If you want to add a link to this site, all you have to do is log in and go to create content and you can add your favorite VW links to the list. #2 Image display script. If you click on the images on the blog page the screen turns dark and the full size picture (when available) unfolds out of the background all ajaxy. I know it is just eye candy, but I dig it. Getting Things Squared Away My wife took a picture of me working on the server getting a few things squared away. I am still getting used to the command line trying to figure out exactly what to do backups on and when. I have done a lot of work just to get this far and I might freak out if something were to happen, like a dead hard drive. The garage situation is now final, I am going to move around things in my 1 car garage and do it at home.
