Bugs and Buses invade the village 6

I have been out of the VW thing for a while. Partly due to being pulled in so many other directions and partly due to not having a garage to work out of. In the last few weeks the VW itch as been in full force.

At the end of the March here in Bakersfeild Ca, we are blessed with the coolest VW show in world http://www.bugsandbuses.com. Well at least the coolest one I have had the chance to attend. In the shade of big trees. Surrounded by vintage VW's and the people that love them. This show is always great.

More Vintage VW Youtube Videos

Ok, it's another youtube video. I had to. This video so would have changed my life 15 years ago. I read all of the Hot VW's and VW Trends I could get my hands on and I still felt a bit in the dark on why the valves needed adjustment. This video is part 1 of 2 so here is the link to to the second video. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ9ccGXtZL0

Vintage VW Training Film

I love youtube.com. Just when you think that you have seen all the lip syncing clips of "Chocolate Rain" that you can handle for a lifetime. Your brain sends you a signal suggesting that you try looking up something that you actually might have some interest in. Lets try doing a search for "Vintage VW". A split second later, I am looking at a list of the best Vintage VW clips that you could ever imagine. Everything from German commercials to vintage training films.

Is calling in sick on a Monday to watch youtube clips against any law? Sure hope not. Wow I feel a cold coming on.

Here is Vintage VW Training Film - Ignition Timing Part 1

Missed it....

I hope that everyone had a great time at the show.

I had looked forward to going for months. But, when the drain pipe under your house decides to crumble like wet cardboard things change. Belly crawling under your house with a head lamp trying to figure out where the waterfall is coming from is not how I like to spend my free time.

If anyone that went wants to write a little something about the show and post some pictures that would be great. Please contact me at TheBugProject@gmail.com
